2020 Booking Conditions

A 10% non-refundable deposit will be taken by credit/debit card at the time of booking, this amount will be deducted from your final balance at the end of your stay. A minimum two night stay may apply to some Saturday nights.

2020 Booking amendments due to COVID-19

There is no need to call the hotels, as our Reservations teams will be proactively contacting guests in order of priority based upon their arrival date. 

For direct guests, the value of the paid deposit or fully pre-paid advance purchase can be transferred and applied against the value of any revised bookings made by 20 December 2020 for stays completed by 30 June 2021.

For third party guests (those booked through a company other than Luxury Family Hotels), bookings can be transferred to alternative dates prior to 30 June 2021, however date restrictions may apply.

2020 Cancellation Policy

For individual reservations we will charge an additional 90% of the quoted rate for the entire stay for any cancellations within 72 hours of arrival. Group bookings are defined as five or more rooms.

For group bookings, we will charge 90% of the total of the rooms cancelled within 14 days of arrival. Any deposits relating to any group rooms cancelled will be non-refundable nor transferrable to another room in the group.

No refunds will be given for failing to take up any component included in the price of your holiday, including meals. 

2020 Rates

Please note that rates vary depending on the day of the week and the hotel’s occupancy levels. All rates are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Rates are per room, per night, based on two adults sharing a room. Interconnecting room rates are for a pair of rooms, per night for up to two adults.

Children stay for free

Children up to the age of 16 stay for free in their parent’s room – subject to the suitability of the room to take extra beds. Rates are inclusive of breakfast for two adults and children staying in the same room. Children’s meals including breakfast are charged as taken on our special breaks.

Single occupancy of a double/twin room

A discount of £15 applies for single occupancy on a bed and breakfast basis, and £50 on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

Dogs stay for £15 per night

Should you wish to bring your dog with you, there will be a supplement of £15 per dog, per night. Please note that not all bedrooms are suitable for dogs and therefore this option is strictly subject to availability and must be booked in advance. Please note we can only accept a maximum of two dogs per room.

2021 Booking Conditions

During school holiday periods a 50% non-refundable deposit will be taken by credit/debit card at the time of booking, outside of these periods a 30% non-refundable deposit to be taken. These amounts will be deducted from your final balance at the end of your stay. A minimum two night stay may apply to Saturday nights.

2021 Cancellation policy

For individual reservations during school holiday periods or for weekends between 31st March and 31st October 2020, we will charge the remaining balance for the entire stay for any cancellations within 14 days of arrival.

For individual reservations during any other periods, we will charge an additional 70% of the quoted rate for the entire stay for any cancellations within 72 hours of arrival.

Group bookings are defined as five or more rooms. For group bookings, we will charge 70% of the total of the rooms cancelled within 28 days of arrival. Any deposits relating to any group rooms cancelled will be non-refundable nor transferrable to another room in the group.

Full pre-payment may apply on special events and some special offers. We strongly urge you to take out appropriate holiday cancellation insurance, especially for longer stays. This must cover you in case of cancellation as a result of any conditions outside of our control, e.g. Bad weather (snow), children’s illness etc.

Pre-Authorisations

You will be required to show the debit or credit card used to pay your deposit upon check-in. If the same card cannot be presented on check in the Reception team may need to refund the original charge and re-take the accommodation charges from a new card.

Luxury Family Hotels requires all guests to provide a valid credit or debit card upon check-in. The hotel will pre-authorise this card for the full room rate (unless room rate paid in advance) plus £50 per night per room for any additional charges which you may incur during your stay.
