Weymouth is our nearest town and just seven miles west of us is the bustling town of Bridport. There is a myriad of activities available not only at the hotel but also within an easy car journey. Seaside jaunts, sailing trips and just innocently crabbing off the quayside are just some of the fair-weather pursuits at hand. For the extreme sports enthusiasts, Portland Sailing Academy and Bowleaze cove herald kite surfing, windsurfing and jet skis.

For slightly more relaxed pursuits, you can tee off at a variety of golf courses with the original Ryder cup course virtually on our doorstep. Horse riding across at Portland amongst the rocks and disused quarries offers some spectacular views over the magnificent Chesil Beach. Ramble directly on to the coastal path and depending on how energetic you wish to be you could stride right across to Golden Cap over at Charmouth or go east towards the ruins of Sandsfoot Castle.
