Arrival – Friday 24th December (Christmas Eve)


Our famous Christmas break starts with a light afternoon tea with finger sandwiches, deli delights and fancy pastries.

As the excitement builds why not take the kids along to Mr Muddle’s Christmas Party. There will be all sorts of fun activities for kids.

Then to get you into the real spirit of Christmas, join us in a Concert of Carols by the fire, sung by our very own local church choir.

For the grown ups prior to dinner there is a chance to try out some wines as Neil guides you through the wines of the world!

Then you’ll be all ready for a gorgeous dinner, as sumptuous as ever, lovingly prepared by Tony and his team with music provided by special guests.

Christmas Day

It’s the big day! And first things first there is the serious business of tracking down Santa – there’s a present for all those who find him.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without....

Moonfleet’s traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings! Later whilst you recline (and perhaps fall asleep in the lounge!), a children’s entertainer clowns about.

And if you’re still hungry later, a classic Edwardian Cold Pantry Buffet – Wind down at the end of a hectic day, just toast yourselves gently by the fires and enjoy a welcome Brandy.

For those of you with a little energy left we will be having a quiz that will be fun for all the family.

Boxing Day

A Cracking start to the final day with a swimming gala, it will be a whale of a time for everyone! Or to burn some of those calories from yesterday why not have a go on our inflatable obstacle course.

After that running around the therapists are ready to send you into a state of utter relaxation with a host of therapies to pamper you.

Then all of a sudden it’s lunch time! A taste of the East......a selection of Chinese, Thai and Indian foods.

Then, our very own fabulous story teller has volumes of tall tales of great deeds, heroes and ner-do-wells! A truly precious moment and firm favourite, two hours of really indulgent family time, all cuddled up and cosy by the fires with cake and milk to conclude.

For the final evening there is a chance to really spoil yourselves with Champagne and canapés followed by Tony Smith’s Menu Gourmand!

Then......Viva Las Vegas! Risk it all (Virtually) on the roulette wheel or be the best at black jack, will you break the bank? Fritter away your imaginary inheritance with our croupiers through in the early hours.
