Facilities

Moonfleet offers comfortable rooms, great beds, wonderful food, helpful, caring and considerate staff, all in a fabulous setting. Our aim is to ensure all these elements provide our guests with the warm welcome they deserve. Moonfleet also has such a mind-boggling array of things to do on site, that it is often difficult to tear yourselves away to discover the undoubted delights of Dorset.

Childcare facilities

The crèche is open from 10am to 5pm every day and is absolutely free to residents. We run organised activities daily to delight and engage the under 7’s so pop them in and take the time to read the newspaper, catch up on sleep or have a relaxing massage in one of our treatment rooms.

Leisure activities

Our Verandah, a 120m² indoor play zone, houses an under 5’s soft play area, a mini football pitch/tennis court, air hockey, table football, pool, trampolines and table tennis.  Venture downstairs and discover our twin lane skittle alley - often just as popular with the grown ups after the children have gone to bed! The Verandah provides us with the perfect winter destination, as no matter what the weather, there is always something to do at Moonfleet!

Outside, we have a great sandpit and play structure for our younger guests as well as two resurfaced hard court Tennis Courts for our sporty guests.  Our Toddle Waddle makes going for a little walk with Toddlers great fun and it’s not too far …. but far enough!

The South Coast Coastal Path runs right outside of our back door, so we are in the perfect spot to go for a “yomp” and take up the Geocaching challenge, or take a magical stroll along the Fleet with 'Snoopy', our resident hotel Spaniel!
