The Swans have begun laying their eggs and from mid May to late June hundreds of fluffy cygnets hatch from eggs in nests on or near the pathways.
Many lucky visitors will take pictures of cygnets cracking out of their eggs within feet of the action!
25 May - 30 September
From 25th May until late September, Visitors will dive into action with the Octonauts, the team of undersea adventure heroes from CBeebies.
Young fans of the TV show will embark on an exciting new mission of extra activities and fun-filled events. Plus you can meet members of the crew!

Its all about spending time with the Family and having fun!
Join us in 2013 for a Sunday full of fun at Moonfleet Manor. We will be organising lots of different activities to suit all ages, you can go swimming or even watch a classic family film in our Cinema Room. All you have to do is book a table for Sunday Lunch.

The annual Dorset Seafood Festival
With over 80 stalls, mouth-watering seafood menus, celebrity chefs, local ales and a fabulous atmosphere, the festival raises money for The Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen.
17th August
Every August, Weymouth goes mad for Carnival Wednesday. The crowning of the carnival queen, limbo dancing, displays by the Red Arrows and numerous competitions for kids and adults are followed by the carnival procession and a spectacular fireworks display.
Another highlight is the annual parade, while the spread of supplementary events that run from morning to nightfall mean you should be able to catch some of the celebrations evn if you have young children.
For committed carnival fans, it's worth arriving early so you can cast a discerning eye over proceedings - up to 100,000 people regularly attend the carnival, one of the most vibrant cultural events to happen in Weymouth all year.

The Festival will be a celebration of eating and drinking, and of those who grow and produce our food and drink, this will be an exciting weekend with lots of delicious things to eat and drink and loads of excellent events
